Too many very capable actors shy away from Shakespeare because of the perceived difficulty of his plays. To try to alleviate that, we're going to be holding a one-session class called Take the Fear out of Shakespeare. Yes, it's aimed primarily at people who might want to audition for our production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," but it's open to anyone, and it's free. The workshop will be offered at the Shannondell Performing Arts Theatre on November 17th, 2007, from 1:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon. If you're interested (whether or not you're interested in auditioning for "A Midsummer Night's Dream"), please contact the director (David Leavitt directormidsummer@yahoo.com), to let him know this; you don't have to "preregister" this way, but it will help us get an approximate count of the people who'll be coming to the workshop.
