Action Arts in Cheltenham (NE Philly) announce auditions for the 25th Anniversary production of John Pielmeir's drama "Agnes of God". Directed by T. Patrick Ryan & Scott R. Grumling ("The Busy World Is Hushed", "Wit" "Keely and Du")

Audition information:
All roles are available:Agnes - a novice in the order (F, 21-30)
Doctor Martha Livingstone – psychiatrist assigned to Agnes’ case (F, 35-45)
Miriam Ruth - Mother Superior for the order (F, 55-65)

Casting open to actresses of all ethnic backgrounds.

The actress playing Agnes will be asked to sing a short a cappella song of her choice. The actress will not need to be a vocally trained performer however she must be able to sing as a soloist while maintaining proper pitch and tone.

Also the actress cast for Dr. Livingstone will be required to smoke as indicated in the script.

Auditions will be at the Cheltenham Art Center, 439 Ashbourne Road, Cheltenham PA 19012 on Wednesday September. 24th at 7:30 PM and Sunday September 28 at 7:00 PM. Callbacks will be Monday, September 29th at 7:30 if needed.

Readings will be from the script. Familiarity with the script strongly encouraged.
